WHY SHOPWORN
If you have to ask, you've never worked retail. The nation's wealth
is counted every evening by it's lowest paid members. We get our fingers dirty
counting the pennies and dollars that drive the nation's economy, but are
rarely compensated properly for the work we do. We are often treated poorly
by those who come to our shops for assistance, just because they entered through
the front door that day, while we entered through the back.
A zine for the shopworn retail worker. Stories about customers and
bosses, labor editorials, and images that reflect the world that is low wage.
